Mobile App - Menu and Settings

Tap the menu icon at the top left of the app to open the side menu.

The top of the menu shows the account name and email the phone is signed in with, and a DEV switch. The DEV switch is reserved for AndroMate support: it is protected by a password and should stay off.

Entry Opens
Home The Home screen
Sync Entries Job results waiting to be uploaded (see below)
Settings The app settings. Available only when DEV mode is on (see below).
Licenses The licenses of the open-source components used by the app
Logout Signs the account out of the phone

Sync Entries

When a job ends, its result (the log and any attached files) is uploaded to the platform. Sync Entries lists the results that are not fully uploaded yet, for example when the phone lost its connection at the end of a job. When everything is uploaded, the screen shows No pending sync entries.

Delete Removes this entry from the phone. Its results will never reach the platform.

Settings

Settings is a screen for AndroMate support and administrators. Opening it without DEV mode only shows the message "Switch to dev mode to enter settings menu".

Section Setting Description
Web Socket Settings IP address, Port Address the app uses to reach the platform. Pre-filled: do not change unless AndroMate support asks you to.
Task Settings Auto start Off by default. When on, the app starts processing jobs by itself a few seconds after the Home screen opens.
Task Settings Background task Off by default. Leave unchanged unless AndroMate support asks you to.

Press Save to apply the changes. If you leave the screen with unsaved changes, the app asks whether to Save or Not save them.
